MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The man who is allegedly responsible for a fatal shooting at the Sonesta Simply Suites back in May was arrested by the Memphis Police Department on Thursday.

L’Darius White, 26, was taken into custody by MPD and was charged with second-degree murder, aggravated assault, and theft of property.

On the night of May 23, MPD investigated a fatal shooting that took place on the 6000 block of Apple Tree Drive. The victim was a man who was transported to the hospital but died later from his wounds.
