MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Memphis Police Department is searching for two men allegedly responsible for a carjacking Thursday afternoon.
At 2:33 p.m. Thursday, MPD observed a vehicle being stolen in a carjacking at a grocery store on the 1600 block of Kansas Street.
Officers were told that the victim exited the store and started walking toward her vehicle when she heard someone running behind her.
The victim turned around and saw a black man pointing a gun at her face. She slipped and fell to the ground.
The man ordered her to give up her keys, and he jumped in the passenger seat of the 2022 Honda HRV.
An additional suspect jumped in the driver’s seat of her vehicle before driving away.
