MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A man and his juvenile accomplice have been arrested after a series of targeted storage unit burglaries in Southeast Shelby County.

According to SCSO, on July 28, deputies responded to an active burglary call at the Miller Creek Apartments.

They detained 45-year-old Adan Escobar and a male juvenile accomplice who allegedly acted as a lookout while Escobar broke into several storage units.

Investigators then executed a search warrant at a residence in the 800 block of Watson Street near Audubon Park.

That search recovered numerous items connected to burglaries over a six-day period, connecting the suspects to the crimes

Both Esobar and the unidentified child suspect are now charged with seven counts of burglary, five counts of property theft, and vandalism.
