MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A former officer in Arkansas speaks out, saying it was her duty to be the voice for fellow female officers, who claimed they were being sexually harassed on the job.
Six years after she sounded the alarm, four West Memphis Police officers were fired following an investigation into misconduct.
We’re hearing from the woman who says she initiated the original investigation.
Former sergeant with the department, Jennifer Jordan, says she received sexual harassment complaints from other women in the department between 2019 and 2020.
She said that is when she brought those concerns to leaders within the city and department, but not much changed.
