BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - The University of Mary in Bismarck believes it will play a key role in solving the state’s workforce shortages.

After the success of its Nursing Academy, launched in fall 2023, UMary is launching new tuition-free academies in Accounting and Elementary Education, with guaranteed job placement or priority entry into graduate school. These begin Fall 2026.

“It’s one of the most exciting things that I’ve been a part of since my time here at the University of Mary, and that’s because it’s mission-driven,” said Rachael Brash, vice president for public affairs at UMary.
