MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - GiGi’s Playhouse Madison was given a nearly $90,000 grant to support its capital campaign, the nonprofit organization announced on Thursday.

Organizers with GiGi’s Playhouse Madison called the $87,000 grant from 100 Men of Dane County transformative and plan to use the money to establish a new forever home.

Kelly Antonson, executive director of GiGi’s Playhouse Madison called the grant more than just financial support.

“It is a vote of confidence in our mission,” she said. “100 Men of Dane County’s investment will help us create a permanent, welcoming space where individuals with Down syndrome can be celebrated, supported, and given opportunities to grow. We are beyond grateful for their belief in our vision.”
