DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- The City of Durham's Water Management Department is resuming its regular utility billing after disruptions caused by the sudden closure of its previous billing vendor in May.

Mailed bills will be sent to customers as usual, and e-billing customers will receive an e-notification. Late fees and shutoffs are back in effect.

According to the department, a new vendor began handling mailed bills in June, and operations are now back to normal.

Customers can pay their utility bill in multiple ways, including online, by phone, in person, or by mail.
