INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis police are investigating a shooting on the east side of the city early Friday that left two people in critical condition.

Officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 4200 block of East Washington Street, near North Colorado Avenue, shortly before 12:30 a.m. They found a person at the scene with apparent gunshot wounds.

Police said the victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

A short time later, police located a second victim who had apparently been shot. That victim was also in critical condition.

There is no information about a possible suspect or motive at this time.
