The 21-year-old also will not be charged after a sexual assault case was brought against him.
Wide receiver Isaiah Bond thanked the Cleveland Browns "for believing in me" in a lengthy Instagram message.
But, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter , a deal between the Browns and Bond has not yet been agreed.
Bond played for Texas in college football last season, scoring five touchdowns in his 14 games.
The receiver had 34 catches for 540 yards after his transfer from Alabama.
He spent two years with the Crimson Tide in 2022 and 2023 before his transfer to Texas.
