Good morning Evansville. It's certainly heating up out there. The heat and humidity we’ve been talking about are back, and they're sticking around through Tuesday. We're expecting daily high temperatures to consistently reach into the middle and upper 90s. But it’s not just the air temperature; we’re also looking at extremely uncomfortable heat indices, which are those "feels like" temperatures, generally ranging from 100 to 105 degrees each afternoon.
We do have a slight chance for an isolated shower or storm over western Kentucky this afternoon, and it's possible we could see a similar chance along parts of the Interstate 64 corridor tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon.
