HOPE — The Bartholomew County Public Library has announced that its Hope Branch will temporarily close for renovations beginning next week. The branch is scheduled to be shut down from Monday, August 18th, and will reopen on Monday, December 1st.

During the three-month renovation period, limited library services will be available to the public at the Hope Annex, located nearby. These temporary services will begin on Thursday, August 21st, and will include a small collection of books for browsing, as well as holds and pickup services, reference services, and limited computer access.

The library is also encouraging patrons to utilize the main Columbus Library Branch, located at 536 5th Street in Columbus, for their library needs during the closure. The renovations are expected to moderniz
