Last week, Halle Berry’s ex-husband raised a lot of eyebrows after disparaging her for not being “motherly” during their marriage. During an August 7 appearance on the podcast All the Smoke , former baseball player David Justice — who Berry was married to for four years in the ’90s — said he’s a “Midwest guy, so in my mind, I’m thinking a wife at that time should cook, clean.” Apparently, that got him doubting whether Berry was “the woman I want to have kids with.” He went on: “At that time, as a young guy — she don’t cook, don’t clean, don’t really seem like motherly, and then we start having issues.”
