Former Democratic presidential nominee sets a high bar for President Trump ahead of his pivotal meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska.

Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton said Friday that she would personally nominate President Donald Trump for a Nobel Peace Prize if he successfully brokers a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine without conceding Ukrainian territory.

Clinton’s surprising statement, made on the “Raging Moderates” podcast, comes as President Trump is set to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Anchorage, Alaska, on Friday afternoon to discuss an end to the conflict that began in February 2022.
