JACKSON TWP. – An early fire July 24 that has temporarily closed Cracker Barrel restaurant has been deemed accidental.
Jackson Township Fire Department Chief Tim Berczik said the investigation has concluded at Cracker Barrel, 6940 Sunset Strip Ave. NW, as the blaze appears to have been caused by an electrical malfunction along the southwest corner of the structure.
"Right now, they're in the process of remodeling the kitchen," said Berczik, noting that it could be some time before the restaurant reopens.
