MERRIMACK, N.H. —

A man accused of shooting and killing his sister-in-law and nephews has agreed to plead guilty in the case.

Eric Sweeney has agreed to plead guilty to three counts of reckless second-degree murder and a charge of falsifying physical evidence.

Prosecutors said Eric Sweeney killed Kassandra Sweeney and his nephews, 4-year-old Benjamin and 1-year-old Mason, at their Northfield home in 2022.

Autopsies determined they each died from a single gunshot wound. Eric Sweeney was only 17 at the time.

In the plea agreement, Eric Sweeney agreed to have no contact with his brother, who was the husband and father of the victims. He also must not have contact with his sister-in-law's family.
