SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - A well-loved diner in Shreveport that has been open for around 100 years has announced on Facebook that it’s closed for good, however, a sign on the door says otherwise.
According to the Cotton Boll’s Facebook page , the restaurant is now permanently closed. The Cotton Boll’s Google business listing also says it’s permanently closed.
However, a white paper sign loosely taped to the door with blue painter’s tape says in handwritten black marker:
“Closed for restructuring. We plan to be back August 25.”
The popular diner went up for sale in early 2024 ; many feared it would close for good then. However, some new owners came in at the last minute and bought the place.
