If you’re a coffee lover who appreciates the skills of the local barista scene or you’re one of those baristas looking for some friendly competition, Fidel & Co’s third annual Latte Art Throwdown is the place to be on Saturday (500 Shall Ave.)

If you’ve never experienced a Latte Art Throwdown, here’s how it works: Little Rock coffee slingers, and some baristas traveling in from neighboring states, will be going head-to-head in a bracket-style tournament to see who can rise to occasion to produce the most mind-blowing swans, hearts, tulips or whatever they’re inspired to create using steamed milk and espresso. Judging is based on symmetry, definition, contrast and aesthetics.
