WILMINGTON (WPVI) -- Delaware's Governor Matt Meyer will sign a wine-shipping bill into law Friday, allowing people to place orders directly to their homes.
Until now, the only legal option was to order off a bar menu through a third-party delivery service, but residents could not get direct orders to their doorstep from a vendor, like a vineyard.
The new law will limit the amount of wine that can be delivered and sellers must have proper state permits and licenses.
