LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed three bipartisan bills on Friday aimed at boosting Michigan’s small businesses and honoring two fallen service members who lost their lives in the line of duty.
The legislation specifically includes measures to cut red tape for local distillers and designate memorial highways in tribute to the two fallen service members.
The legislative package is part of Governor Whitmer’s ongoing effort to support economic growth and honor public service.
With the addition of today’s bills, she has now signed a record-setting 1,509 bipartisan bills since taking office.
