A section of Route 302 in North Windham was closed Friday afternoon due to a shooting.

The shooting that occurred around 1:55 p.m. is under investigation by the Maine State Police, according to Lt. Aaron M. Turcotte.

The road closure starting at the Landing Road remains in effect.
