PORTLAND, Ore. — Drivers will need to watch out for a series of planned road closures across the Portland metro area this weekend and over the next week as crews work on repaving and various other road maintenance projects. Some of the closures will only be for the weekend, while others start in the next week but will remain in place for weeks.

Here's the rundown:

This is the last in a series of closures for repaving as part of the Oregon 217 Auxiliary Lanes Project . All northbound drivers will be forced to exit at OR 99W. The closure was originally scheduled to begin Friday night, but was delayed due to rain in the forecast. Paving and striping require dry conditions, so the schedule could change again depending on the weekend's weather.
