PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Two major airlines are joining together to offer nonstop flights from North America to Taipei, Taiwan.

STARLUX Airlines announced that it would be teaming up with American Airlines, connecting major cities like Phoenix, New York, Philadelphia, Boston and more to Taipei. Earlier this year, Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego announced that the flight from Phoenix to Taipei’s Taoyuan Airport would begin early next year, marking the Valley’s first nonstop flight to Asia.
