WEST 4J ROAD AND OAKCREST DRIVE: Three boys were warned about throwing fireworks Wednesday night. A 53-year-old man said he was driving east on West 4J Road when a firework was thrown at him from a tree line on the south side of the road. He swerved to avoid the firework. Officers found a 16-year-old boy hiding in the trees, and a drone was used to find two other boys, both 15, Police Deputy Chief Brent Wasson said. The boys admitted to throwing fireworks into the roadway. The boys were warned about their actions, and their parents were contacted.
