Darwin Loyde Harper, 76, born Dec. 8, 1948, left a legacy on Friday, Aug. 8, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

A celebration of life begins at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at the Rozet Bar. Everyone is invited to attend.

Darwin was born to Reuben and Edna Harper in Gillette. He grew up in Rocky Point and graduated from Moorcroft High School in 1967. He attended Sheridan College before being drafted into the Army.

He married Brenda Fitzgerald on April 8, 1978, and moved to Parachute, Colorado, in 2006.

Darwin is survived by his wife; daughters, Misty Harper and Destiny Harper; son, Joshua Harper; brother, Willard Harper; and several grandkids and great-grandkids.
