The cases against three men who allegedly beat up another man, forced him into a car and left him for dead near the North Landfill last fall have been dropped because the alleged victim's whereabouts are unknown. And now, the three men are in the hands of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

In November, Adan Oviedo-Rivera, Juan Enrique-Gonzalez and Adrian Gonzalez-Oviedo all were charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, kidnapping, conspiracy to commit kidnapping and aggravated assault and battery.

These three, who are all related, allegedly beat up their roommate and coworker, Luis Garcia-Imenez, around 10 p.m. on Nov. 23 before loading him into his 2005 Chevrolet Malibu with the intent of killing him at another location.
