TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - The Kings River is closed for motorized watercraft for the rest of the season.
The Tulare County Sheriff's Office said that due to current water levels and hazards below the water's surface, the Kings River is now closed to boats, jet skis and other motorized vessels.
The sheriff's office said that although the river will be closed to motorized watercraft, it remains open to other water recreation, such as swimming or floating.
