TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The Pima County Attorney’s Office has filed a lawsuit against the federal government to get access to the suspect from a crime spree that left a Tucson man dead.
On Friday, the PCAO said it is suing “high-ranking members of the Trump Administration in federal court to get access to Julio Cesar Aguirre.”
Aguirre, 42, is the previously deported felon from Mexico who is facing federal and state charges for a fatal shooting and crime spree on June 30.
The PCAO said Aguirre is in federal custody and authorities have not told it where he is being held.
“For six weeks now, the federal government and its newly appointed U.S. Attorney for Arizona have inexplicably ignored six local victims and denied them justice for the egregious harms they suffered on June 30,” the P
