EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Good news for readers on the north side of Evansville, renovations at the EVPL North Park branch are finally done.
The library has been a work in progress for about the past six months, and today they held an open house to showcase the updated space.
Library officials say a lot has changed since it was last open, including an updated floor plan with more small group rooms, a new sensory room, and a new family restroom.
They say the building itself is also improved, with new acoustic features for better sound control; along with new flooring, furniture, paint, and more.
Those who visited for the open house got to explore the new-look library with a scavenger hunt showcasing all its new features.
There were also refreshments, crafts, and more.
