High temperatures today pushing 90 degrees further to the south

Heavy rainfall expected with organized storm activity

First Alert Day on Sunday as storms continue

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - After a break from the rain this past week, we are looking at another active weekend for southern Wisconsin. We saw some showers and storms pushing through late last night and into the early morning hours today, but we have since dried out. As for the rest of today, there is some uncertainty with the forecast. With that being said, models are in agreement on a storm system developing out to the west of the Twin Cities and swinging southeastward later today. 1-2 rounds are possible later this morning and again this afternoon/evening.

Depending on how unstable the atmosphere becomes after this first round
