CLINTON COUNTY, Ill. (First Alert 4) - Body camera video from the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office in Illinois shows a deputy arriving at a wreck left by a head-on crash west of Carlyle on Monday night. Still inside the car is Tina Schoenfelder in the passenger seat, stuck with flames coming out of the front of the car.

The video shows a deputy and a Carlyle Police officer pulling her out.

Schoenfelder is now at St. Louis University Hospital with a long recovery ahead.

Though Friday provided Jack Shockley a sign of progress to end what’s been a horrible week.

Jack and his wife, Alisha Shockley, are friends with Tina and her husband, Travis Schoenfelder, but he calls them sister and brother.
