SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Simpsonville Police Department said that an Upstate high school coach was arrested Friday for sexual battery he committed in June.
Police said they were notified on Monday that Coach Ceisean Jahad Tucker-Grimes, 26, had an inappropriate relationship with a student at Hillcrest High School.
According to an arrest warrant, assist coach Tucker-Grimes committed sexual battery with a student on June 2.
Officials said that Tucker-Grimes was arrested Friday and charged with sexual battery with a student. He was transported to the Greenville County Detention Center.
