OCONEE COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Oconee County Coroner’s Office said that bicyclist died Friday night following a collision on Tuesday.
Officials said the 69 year-old Oconee County man died at Greenville Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained in a collision with a motor vehicle which occurred Tuesday afternoon. The victim was wearing a helmet, officials said.
According to officials, the collision occurred on Oakway Road near East Spearman Road, Westminster around 2:15 p.m.
Officials identified the victim as James M. Adams, 69, of Fair Play, S.C. He died at 10:22 p.m.
His manner of death was ruled accidental.
