ST PAUL, Minn. — An overnight shooting in St. Paul's Frogtown neighborhood has left one person dead.

The Saint Paul Police Department reports that just before 4:15 a.m. on Saturday, the officers received a call of a person shot at the 300 block of Edmund Avenue.

Upon arrival, law enforcement found a man on the street, visibly suffering from gunshot wounds, according to the press release. Authorities say they provided first aid until the arrival of Saint Paul Fire medics.

The man was then transported to Regions Hospital, where he later died.

No arrests have been made at this time. The area has been secured, and police are interviewing witnesses. Authorities encourage anyone with information to call 651-266-5650.
