The Minnesota State Fair is here.

That means there's a slight slowdown in almost everything else around the Twin Cities as nearly two million people descend on the fairgrounds for 12 days.

That's relevant here because there's a whole lot of live music happening at the fair. For the next couple of weeks, we'll have the Grandstand shows listed in the weekly concert roundup, but the boatload of free shows happening at the fair won't be compiled here.
