European leaders will join Volodymyr Zelensky for his crucial meeting with Donald Trump on Monday, it has been announced.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, French President Emmanuel Macron and Nato secretary Mark Rutte all confirmed that they will attend the meeting in the White House tomorrow.

Finnish President Alexander Stubb, Trump’s favourite EU ally, is also expected to attend, alongside Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

Sir Keir Starmer has not yet confirmed his attendance, but would be expected to be there given Britain is one of Ukraine - and America’s - strongest allies.
