ADAIRVILLE, Ky. (WBKO) - An Adairville man was arrested and charged with child sexual exploitation Friday following an Internet Crimes Against Children investigation.

KSP reports that 33-year-old Anthony Kirkpatrick shared images of child sexual exposure online. In their investigation, they interviewed Kirkpatrick and seized equipment he used to share the images on Aug. 15.

“Due to an outstanding investigation with an undercover agent of the E-Crimes division of the Kentucky State Police, Kirkpatrick was successfully arrested and children are safer with him off the streets,” said Adairville Chief of Police Aaron Ashby.

Kirkpatrick is currently in the Logan County Detention Center facing 10 counts of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor under the age of 12
