People living on a Bilborough estate say their lives are a nightmare for 12 hours a day because of a nearby housing development. Planning permission to build 130 homes on playing fields next to Westbury Academy was granted in July 2023.

Work has now finally begun on the development, and after three weeks of heavy-duty machinery shaking their homes, dust ending up on their clean clothes, and security dogs barking, some are looking to move away from the area.
