RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – A water main break in Rio Rancho is causing some residents to be without water for the night. A large sinkhole was spotted in front of a home on Clark Hills Drive.

Around 4:30 p.m., the city posted that there is a water main break and they are actively working to fix it. The city says the estimated repair time could range from eight to 10 hours.

While crews work to repair the water line, the city says low water pressure to no water can be expected for the area.
