A former professional thief who claims to have burgled 20,000 homes has shared his how he would choose his next victim.
Darryl Kennedy, 62, from Salford , began his life of crime at just nine years old alongside his dad - and has since served four prison sentences.
Back in the day, Darryl gained a reputation as a prolific cat burglar both in the UK and around the world, and even headed up a professional burglary gang . He focused on the homes of the rich and famous, swiping diamonds and other precious jewellery before leaving without a trace.
During his criminal career, spanning around half a century, Darryl estimates he has broken into more than 20,000 homes. But after a five-year prison sentence, the ex-thief decided it was time for a change, and he says he deeply regrets the path
