EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — An Evansville man faced DUI charges following a crash over the weekend.

Evansville police responded to a call at Pollack Avenue and Vann Avenue just after 9 p.m. on Friday.

Authorities said Anthony Parkman claimed to have had only a couple of beers before the collision.

However, it was determined that Parkman's blood alcohol content was more than twice the legal limit, police said.

Parkman was booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail and has since been released.
