SAGINAW, Mich. (WNEM) - One person is in critical condition following a shooting in Saginaw.

Officers were called to the scene at 10:20 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16 near Perkins and 23rd Street on the border with Buena Vista Township. There was a large gathering at the time.

According to Michigan State Police, responding officers found one victim in the street who had been shot and hit by a car.

Four other victims arrived at Covenant Healthcare with gunshot wounds. All were listed in good condition and are expected to recover.

Investigators did not divulge the genders or ages of the victims, and no arrests have been made.

MSP said a lack of cooperation from victims and witnesses of violent crimes in Saginaw continues to impede investigations.
