SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio — Shaker Heights police are searching for a domestic violence suspect who fled the area after officers had set up a perimeter on Monday morning.
According to Shaker Heights Police Chief Wayne Hudson, officers were called to the 3000 block of Westbury Road at approximately 6:33 a.m. for a call of a domestic violence assault. When police arrived, they encountered a 30-year-old victim with "obvious signs" that she had been assaulted the face. She told police that the 32-year-old father of her children punched her in the face multiple times and then went into her home.
Police set up a perimeter and begin searching the house. A SWAT team was also brought to the scene.
While officers were conducting the search, the department announced on its Facebook page at approximat
