(WJW) – There are some upcoming sobriety checkpoints to be aware of in Cuyahoga, Huron and Tuscarawas counties.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol announced Monday that troopers with the Cleveland post will be looking for impaired drivers this weekend.
The OVI checkpoint is planned for Friday or Saturday.
The location will not be announced until the day prior to the checkpoint, according to a news release.
Newburgh Heights police also said its officers would be looking for impaired drivers Friday night.
That location is expected to be announced Friday morning.
In Tuscarawas County, OSHP announced troopers will operate an OVI checkpoint Friday night in the central part of the county.
A location will be announced Friday morning.
Huron County is also planning a checkpoint in Norwalk.
