BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - Police say a juvenile was arrested after a car theft, attempted car break-ins and a high-speed chase through Burlington.
It happened at about 1 a.m. Monday when police say they got a report of two people trying to break into cars on Berry Street.
Shortly after, officers saw two cars speeding through the city and driving the wrong way down one-way streets.
During the chase, one of the cars crashed on Manhattan Drive, and after a foot chase, officers arrested the juvenile driver.
No one was injured.
Police say their investigation found the car was stolen earlier in the night.
They say several minors were involved in the incidents but we likely won’t learn much more about the case as information regarding juvenile suspects is kept from the public.
