GEORGETOWN TWP., MI - The Board of Ottawa County Road Commissioners this week approved the installation of a new Stop and Go traffic signal.

The new traffic signal will be installed at the intersection of Baldwin Street and Brewer Drive in Georgetown Township, near the east driveway of two Hudsonville Public Schools, Georgetown Elementary School and Baldwin Street Middle School.

J. Ranck Electric completed the installation and activated the signal in flashing operation (yellow light for Baldwin Street and red light for Brewer Drive) on Thursday, Aug. 14.

Road officials plan to activate the signal for full ‘Stop and Go’ operation on Aug. 19, weather permitting.
