EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - Talk about a doggone good rescue!

El Paso County Search and Rescue (EPCSAR) helped a four-legged hiker in need over the weekend!

“Today’s subject was more unique than our typical clientele,” EPCSAR wrote in a social media post. “We rescued an injured dog from a trail off Old Stage Road.”

EPCSAR did not elaborate on how the dog became injured or any other circumstances around the call, only that its team was always there for any El Paso County resident -- including the furry kind!

“We are always happy to help our fur friends when they are in need.”
