LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A woman accused of causing a disturbance at a Lincoln hospital was arrested on Sunday.
Lincoln Police officers were called to a disturbance in progress at St. Elizabeth Hospital shortly before 3:30 a.m.
Police said Brooke Richard, 28, of Lincoln was intoxicated, yelling and threatening to be physical with hospital staff. She allegedly began kicking at people, including the arriving officers, so she was placed in handcuffs.
Richard was released from handcuffs after agreeing to leave the hospital but police said she instead began walking the opposite way from the exit. While placing her under arrest, police said she began screaming and throwing her body around.
Four officers carried Richard to a police cruiser. During this time, police said she began kicking again,
