(WBTV) - Pictures and videos submitted to WBTV on Monday show dark skies from a beach in The Bahamas as Hurricane Erin moved through the Atlantic Ocean .

A WBTV viewer submitted pictures and videos from the Exuma district of The Bahamas, located in the Caribbean Sea, on Monday, Aug. 18. The visuals show breezy conditions on the beach, with a deep-colored sky overtop the blue-green sea.

The Bahamas -- along with most Caribbean nations -- were not within the cone of Hurricane Erin as of Monday, and weren’t projected to be. Erin was forecast to move westward near the Bahamas and U.S. coast, but was not forecast to make landfall in either location.
