The New Orleans Police Department is searching for a man wanted for firing several shots at a car on U.S. 90 westbound.

According to police, around 6:45 p.m. on July 4, Waters was driving a car on US 90 westbound near the General De Gaulle exit when he fired several shots at another car during an apparent "road rage" incident.

Anyone with information regarding the crime or the location of Luther Gary Waters is asked to call Fourth District detectives at 504-658-6040 or to anonymously call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
