LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — The U.S. government did not intervene in the arrest of an Israeli citizen in a Las Vegas Valley child sex sting , state department officials said.

In a social media post from the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, officials said Tom Artiom Alexandrovich, 38, is an Israeli citizen. The post noted that Alexandrovich did not claim diplomatic immunity and was released by a state judge pending a court date.

“Any claims that the U.S. government intervened are false,” the state department said in the post.

A November 2024 article on the official website of the Israeli government referenced a person with the same name as the head of the Technological Defense Division at the Israel National Cyber Directorate.
